Lunkenheimer Class 150 cast stainless steel swing check valves can be installed in horizontal lines, and in vertical lines to prevent downward flow. They are of rugged construction to assure durability for corrosive service.

Bodies Heavy shell thickness for strength and streamlined flow areas to minimize pressure drop. Body is designed with ample clearance to permit full swing of disc. Thus erosion of disc and resistance to flow are minimized. For vertical line installations, a stop lug on cap prevents disc from cocking in open position.

Caps Large cap opening affords easy access to internal valve parts for maintenance and inspection. Body-cap flange-faces are self-centering, male-female type and have acid resistant gaskets. Cap bolting consists of through-bolts with nuts.

Discs Disc assembly is supported by a sturdy disc carrier pin. Disc is fastened securely to disc carrier by means of a locknut. The disc, however, is free to swivel. Thus, localized wear is eliminated.

Seats Integral with body.

Flanges Flanged valve face to face length is in accordance with ANSI B16.10. Pipe flange is in accordance with ANSI B16.5 for sizes through 24 NPS. Pipe flanges have 1/16 inch raised face. Raised faces are machined to a serrated spiral finish which meets requirements of ANSI B16.5, API-600 and MSS-SP-6.

Butt weld end Valve end to end length is in accordance with ANSI B16.10 regular (long) pattern. Unless otherwise specified on purchase order, butt weld end valves will be furnished with ends machined in accordance with ANSI B16.25 for use without backing ring or with split backing ring and to match Schedule 40 connecting pipe. Other requirements are possible.
