Lunkenheimer forged stainless steel lift check valves can be installed in horizontal lines, and in vertical lines to prevent downward flow. Spring dampens pulsations by cushioning disc when opening, and by assisting in closing and holding disc. Dependable and practical application in pipe lines in which reverse flow might damage equipment or ruin media in pipe.

Bodies Heavily constructed for durability.

Caps Large cap opening affords easy access to internal valve parts for maintenance and inspection. Body-cap flange faces are self-centering, male-female type and have spiral wound 316 stainless steel gaskets. Cap bolting consists of bolts threaded into body.

Discs Spherical disc seating surface forms line of contact with tapered body seat and fits snugly in bore of body. Space above disc is drained (through a relief hole in disc) to equalize pressure, creating a smooth, sensitive action.
